Hi, I’m Holly!
I am a Registered Professional Counselor Associate. I have five years of experience working in various settings with kids, teens, and their families. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone is a work in progress, and I would love to get to know you!
The Professional Stuff
I moved to the Rogue Valley four years ago from Nashville, TN, where I began my career. I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Maryville College in 2015 and a Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2018. I have worked with kids and teens in outpatient, school, and residential settings. I believe that kids and teens deserve a safe space to process whatever is going on in their lives, as well as to have an unbiased, supportive person to go to.
I draw heavily from Rogerian (person-centered) therapy, with the belief that clients deserve unconditional positive regard and empathy no matter what they bring into therapy. I also draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, and I use art and play therapy as well. I find passion in working with clients who have experienced trauma and want to find the tools to find their own voice and break out of negative cycles that have impacted their families. I specialize in trauma/PTSD, grief work, depression, anxiety, and foster care-related trauma and stressors.
The Personal Stuff
Outside of work, I love spending time with my pets (4 cats and 2 dogs) and my husband and friends. I love to travel to both new and familiar places, draw, cross-stitch, and make resin crafts. I also love dancing, baking, and all things Disney.
