Professional Practice Medical Billing
 What to Expect

When you complete your intake packet, we send a good faith price estimate to you according to information from your insurance company. We submit claims to insurance after services are rendered, and follow up with insurance for processing and payment. After your insurance has processed your claims, we will reach out to you with a statement showing charges, insurance payment, and your remaining balance (if you have one).

Hi, I’m Tracy

I started doing medical billing in 2008. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from SOU, and a background in credit analysis, procedural compliance, debt collections, and medical reception. I have served as the secretary on the board of MHREN (Mental Health Resource & Education Network) since 2010, which helps me to stay informed about things affecting mental health practices and providers.

The Professional Stuff

I have a background in mortgage lending, collections, and was an insurance agent for a while. I've only recently gotten into medical billing, but it has been something I have wanted to do for quite some time now, and has definitely been a good fit.

The Personal Stuff

At home, I have two children (Charlie (almost 2) and Eli (almost 5)). My husband and I enjoy cooking, hiking, and camping. In a past life (before kids), we did backpacking, motorcycle rides, salsa dancing, sculpting, pottery, and travel. We will have time for those things again someday. For now, we spend a lot of time playing hide and seek, riding bikes, going to the train park, and reading books. We love living in Southern Oregon and we feel that it’s an enriching environment for our family.

More About Our Billing Team

Lori Waller, Billing Specialist (she, her)

I live at home with my boyfriend and our four kids. We have two boys and two girls, ages ranging from 7-12. When we're not spending time at home having a family game or movie nights, we enjoy spending our time outdoors hiking and exploring new areas of the Valley. As a family, we are also involved with archery. It's something we all enjoy doing together. I was born and raised right here in Southern Oregon. I have ventured out a few times to other areas of the country, but I always find myself back here. It’s home.

I graduated and received my certificate as a Medical Coding Specialist from Rogue Community College in 2017. I adopted my twin nieces and had a baby during my last term so I took about a year off from work to focus on our new family. I started working for Professional Practice in September of 2018 and can honestly say, I love my job!

Eden Abbey-Varga, Billing Specialist (she, her)

Before I decided to go to school for medical coding, I was a Navy reservist. My job in the Navy was a Second Load Master on the C-130 Hercules, cargo aircraft. I had two civilian jobs while I was a Navy reservist. I was the Purchasing Agent and Inventory Control Manager for a rifle manufacturing company full time, and I was a Dive Master for a local dive shop, part-time.

I have had an adventure-filled life before I had children. Now I am enjoying the country lifestyle of raising children, tending to farm animals, growing my own fruits and vegetables, and working for Professional Practice as a biller.
