Trinity Leonis, MS

Hi, I’m Trinity!

I am a Registered Associate working towards licensure in the state of Oregon to be a Licensed Professional Counselor. I find meaning in supporting others in finding their own meaning in life and enjoy working alongside young people on their unique journeys. My goal is to help support you in finding your path in a way that is authentic to you and aligned with your own values.

The Professional Stuff

I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Oregon University. During my internship I provided individual and group counseling for people seeking treatment for substance use and mental health. After I graduated I started working as a mobile crisis therapist where I had the honor of working alongside people of all ages and their families in Jackson County during some of the hardest moments of their lives. I have strong experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, school concerns, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and self harm concerns. I am continuing to learn and expand my knowledge and skills with LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and anti-racist lens. My therapeutic approach is eclectic with my primary therapeutic modalities pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) with an overarching Person Centered approach.

The Personal Stuff

When I am not at work I love spending time with my family, friends, and two dogs hiking and traveling or being an absolute couch potato. I enjoy reading, working out, drawing, all things food related, and adventures.
